We give you here a few details about our hospital so that your experience at our hospital is comfortable and pleasant.
Registration
If you are visiting Apollo for the first time, you need to register. You will be issued a UHID number and a hospital record file.
Admission
A comprehensive range of facilities ensures that all the expertise necessary for your well-being is made available.
For room reservation please contact the Admission Counter along with the doctor's admission request.
In case of emergency, you will be first admitted in the Emergency unit and later shifted to the room.
A cot or a couch will be provided in your room to facilitate the stay of your attendant. In the General Wards, a reclining chair is provided.
For children under 5 years two attendants will be allowed.
When a patient is shifted to CT ICU / CCU the attendants may vacate the room and avail the services of the waiting hall which is located at the basement of the main block.
Patients availing credit facility have to provide an authorization / credit letter from the company, which should be handed over at the admission counter during the time of admission.
Category of Rooms
Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals offers a choice of Patient Rooms/ Beds. All rooms are air–conditioned. All efforts are made to provide the type of room that you desire. However, in the event of non-availability of the room of your choice, you would be allotted the best alternative room available
Suite Rooms– A suite comprises well-furnished air-conditioned rooms including the lounge with a separate bathroom for attendant. A special electronically operated bed with remote control facility is provided for maximum patient comfort. The suite also has LCD televisions in both the rooms and a large dining area. Two full height storage units with electronic safe, pantry with refrigerator & microwave are also present.
Deluxe Rooms- A Deluxe room is a large air-conditioned room including Electronic bed, Sofa cum bed for attendant, Full Height Storage unit with mirror, Refrigerator, Study & Side Table, Telephone, Electronic Locker & LCD television. LDR – This is a special deluxe room in the Obstetrics & Gynaecology ward, which is provided with a Jacuzzi tub and has all other facilities of a deluxe room.
Single Rooms- This is a large air-conditioned room with television, telephone, refrigerator, sofa set, wardrobe, sofa cum bed for attendant & full height storage unit with mirror.
Semi-Private- Each room accommodates 2 patients. A common television and separate telephones are provided. A single sofa cum bed is provided for attendant. Washroom is common.
A/C Multi Bed Unit - It is air-conditioned and consists of 4,5 or 6 beds separated by curtain partitions. A common TV with cable connection and telephone for incoming calls are also provided in the ward.
Platinum Lounge
Platinum Lounge for International Patient Services – Facilitates communication, transportation, ticketing, visa assistance, FRRO registration etc.
Deposit/Payment
Depending upon the room requested and nature of the treatment, an initial deposit will be collected at the admission counter, which will be adjusted in the final bill. If patients wish to utilize a package deal, the cost of the package has to be paid in full before admission.
For any enquiry regarding billing, patients may contact the In Patient Billing section located at the third floor. Payments should be made only to billing department personnel and not to any other individual.
Food & Dietary Services
The Dietician plans the diet based on the therapeutic needs of the patient. F&B Department coordinates diet for all non-referred patients. Food quality and timely services of food are also assured. Option card is provided for selection of cuisine for patients in single rooms & above.
Laundry
We provide Laundry service for attendants. The rate list will be provided on request. You will be billed for the same at the time of patient’s discharge.
Gift Shop
A gift shop is located in the atrium. It sells cards, magazines, books and other gift items.
Communication Center
The communication centre located in the Atrium provides STD and ISD phone services, fax and photocopy facilities.
Bank & ATM
The Oriental Bank of Commerce has an extension counter in the OPD Block at Gate # 10. ICICI & OBC banks have their ATM’s in the atrium.
Diet Clinic
Out patient diet clinic is operational everyday, and the dietician provides diet counselling to out-patients.
Food Court
For the convenience of patient’s attendants, visitors and outdoor patients, a Food court is located in the Atrium.
Corporate Helpdesk
If you are covered under listed insurance companies for medical services, Apollo Hospitals, Delhi will help you get your claim processed by your TPA. Please Note: In the event of cashless authorization request being rejected by TPA, the patient will be required to settle the hospital bill and try to claim the expenses subsequently from the insurance company/ TPA. For assistance please contact the TPA Helpdesk located in the Atrium near Gate # 6. Please note that the discharge medicines and certain exclusions are not covered by your insurance.
Transport
Ambulance services are available for pick up and drop. Please contact ambulance department at the ground floor (Near Emergency).
Security
We provide 24-hour security staff who make frequent rounds. Safe deposit lockers are available at the security office. In case of theft or loss, security may be notified immediately. Unclaimed items, found in the hospital premises, may also be handed over to security office at the (-2 Basement) Lower Level. We have installed CCTV cameras at key areas of the premises.
Travel Desk
For any type of travel requirements,& visa application, the travel desk is located in the Atrium.
